Holland Hospital, an early leader in the use of robotic-assisted surgery, is pleased to announce that orthopedic surgeon Derick Johnson, DO, recently performed his 1,000th robotic-assisted knee replacement surgery using the Mako™ Knee from Stryker Corporation. Dr. Johnson is an experienced hip and knee replacement specialist and was the first orthopedic surgeon in West Michigan to use the Mako Total Knee system.
